The course focuses on several essential aspects of preaching along the lines of the ‘homiletical triangle’ from the perspective of Hebrews as a ‘Model Sermon’: the text (the Voice of God, the relation between Old Testament and New Testament, typology, prosopological exegesis a.o.), the preacher (f.e. attitude, spiritual life, use of rhetoric), the hearers (congregation: spiritual condition; cases and cure).
